Who We Are: We are a team of a facilitator, translators, helpers, and a family support network, both in the U.S. and Ukraine.  We can assist families from USA, Canada and selective European countries including Ireland and Spain.  We have partnered with ABOUT A CHILD to provide full dossier preparation support services on the U.S. side.  Alex is the facilitator with interpreter teams in Ukraine helping both agency and independent families.  Alex is also an American citizen.

What We Do:  We provide agency services at independent prices for your Ukrainian adoption(s). We offer full dossier support in the US and excellent service while in Ukraine.  Other than food, lodging, Embassy fees and personal expenses, your price is all inclusive.  There will be no unpleasant surprses or hidden fees once you arrive to Ukraine, and you don't have to pay until meeting and accepting your referral.  For people looking to make their adoption trip into a vacation, travel, lodging, and tour guides upgrades are available.  You can adopt on a budget or roll out the red carpet.

Why Choose Us: Depending on how fast you want to complete your dossier, your entire adoption from start to finish can range from 6 months to 12 months.  We cater your adoption to your needs.  Adoptions have been completed in as short as 6 days, but average 3-5 weeks for younger children under 5, and 2-3 weeks for older kids 8+.

Common Myths:

  1. A Ukrainian adoption takes more than 4 weeks, FALSE, ONLY IN DIFFICULT REGIONS if the wait is not waived.

  2. My dossier has to sit at the NAC for several months before I get any feedback on my case, FALSE.

  3. Families have to travel to several regions to find healthy children, FALSE.

  4. There are no healthy kids or toddlers in Ukraine, FALSE.

  5. A healthy referral must mean bribes were paid, FALSE.

The TRUTH:

  1. There is a team of people monitoring your paperwork processing to keep you moving quickly.  You have a right to be informed about your process at every step of the way.

  2. There are very few teams like this in Ukraine.  Some of them work exclusively with agencies.  When assisting independent families, we hold ourselves accountable to the same high standards as working with agency families.

  3. If you choose an agency, you have to use their facilitator.  Not all agencies choose top-notch facilitators, so make sure you know who will help you once you get to Ukraine and get their references.

  4. In regions our team works most of the time, the 30 days after the court typically get waived.  There is NO guarantee it will be waived in your case.

  5. Before accepting a referral, your facilitator will advise you on the likelihood of 30 days being waived and general paperwork processing time in that region.

  6. There are more boys than girls available and there are many beautiful older children awaiting homes.  You cannot pre-select a child in Ukraine, but if you have other families' recommendation of exemplary orphanages they adopted from, you can inquire about other adoptable children from that orphanage during your NAC visit.

  7. Most independent adoptions cost between $15,500 and $25,500 total.  Our fees are lower than that of most agencies, but may be higher than in-country portions of agency fees, securing the services of top professionals, outside attorneys when required, etc.  When choosing our team, families pay nothing for interpretation and representation until they accept their referral (other than dossier translation fees payable upon arrival).
